Ubisoft has had a number of issues, including Assassin's Creed Shadows, which has created uncertainty about the future of the series. However, Insider Gaming reports that the company is still planning several projects, including a new game set in China.

Ubisoft currently has plans for the Assassin's Creed series for the next six years, with nine projects planned - two main games, two multiplayer games, three previously announced remakes, one smaller project, and one smartphone game. However, one project, known internally as Mask, has been canceled.

The main game in the Assassin's Creed series for the coming years is Jade, which will take place in China. Ubisoft is also working on Invictus, a 16-player Fal Guys-style multiplayer project that will receive at least five years of updates.

Ubisoft also has a long-awaited remake of Assassin's Creed Blackflag, known internally as Obsidian. It is being developed on the Anvil engine and will be released around the same time as Invictus. Another project that will be released immediately after the end of Shadows support, which will likely have two years of updates, is Hexe, which was also previously announced. The game will take place in 16th-century Central Europe during the Holy Roman Empire.

The next major RPG in the Assassin's Creed series will be Scarlet, which will follow Hexe. Details about the game are scarce at the moment, but Insider Gaming says it's already in the works. It's likely a project known as Nebula, set in three different moons - India, the Mediterranean, and the Aztec Empire.

Ubisoft is planning another remake, known internally as Stardust, but it's not yet known which game. Stardust will be followed by another multiplayer project, Emerald. It will be a PvE game that will also get up to five years of support if it wins over its audience.

At the same time, Ubisoft is planning a third major RPG, which has no working title, no set studio, and no theme yet, but is expected to be released after Scarlet's support ends. At the same time, the studio is also planning a third remake, which also has no internal title or developers yet, but is scheduled for release a year after the third RPG.
