Amazon Prime's Fallout series could be released within the next decade

Amazon Prime's Fallout series, whose first season debuted in April 2024, has been a success, garnering positive reviews from critics and earning Bethesda at least $80 million. It's no surprise that the project has been renewed for a second season, which has already wrapped production.

However, the story won't end with season two. As Insider Gaming reports, in a recent interview at Comic Con in the UK, actor Aaron Moten, who played the role of Maximus, one of the show's three main characters, revealed that Fallout could get six seasons.

"When I signed on to do the series, we would have a starting point, and they gave me the endpoint. And that endpoint hasn’t changed, but it is a season five, six type of endpoint. We’ve always known that we’re going to take our time with the development of the characters," Moten said.

At the current production rate, that could take decades. While the second season is already wrapped, post-production — if it takes as long as the first season — could take about a year. So the new season is likely to premiere in the spring or summer of 2026.
