Nintendo teases a new console, but unfortunately, it’s not Switch 2. It’s a LEGO Game Boy set that is due out in October 2025.

This is not the first joint project between Nintendo and LEGO. Previously, they created LEGO sets based on Nintendo characters and made a model of the NES console in the form of a construction set.
If you’ve been following the news, this is just part of a long line of announcements and launches unrelated to Switch 2. In October 2024, the Nintendo Museum opened in Kyoto, the company released the Alarmo alarm clock, launched a music streaming service with game soundtracks, and began testing a mysterious MMO.
As for Switch 2, the console should debut in the coming months. By the way, gaming accessories manufacturers showed models of the new product at CES 2025, but Nintendo responded that these “images and videos are not official”.
