Samsung is preparing to host Galaxy Unpacked on January 7, 2025. In addition to the new Galaxy S25 smartphone series, the event will unveil an augmented reality headset and the Galaxy Ring 2 smart ring, reports DigiTimes Asia.

Additionally, the company will announce an expansion of its Galaxy AI ecosystem in the form of an AI agent providing fashion recommendations, transportation information, and more.

Galaxy Ring 2 will be available in 11 sizes, offering better competition with Oura. Samsung will also enhance health data sensors, introduce new AI features, and increase the battery capacity for up to 7 days of usage.

Regarding the AR headset, Samsung, in collaboration with Qualcomm and Google, is developing a product with the codename Moohan. It will run on Android XR, support Gemini, and feature advanced AI processing chips.
