Apple has announced iOS 18.2 Release Candidate, a pre-release version of the OS for developers and public beta testers. The stable version of the system for all users will be released next week, MacRumors reports.
With the iOS 18.2 update, Apple continues to expand the capabilities of Apple Intelligence. For example, the system received Image Playground, an application for creating stylized images.
In addition, the developers have also installed the Genmoji emoji creation kit, integrated ChatGPT into Siri, and added the Visual Intelligence feature, which will be able to identify objects and places around you using the iPhone 16 camera.
Apple also improved the Writing Tools feature and added support for localized English for Apple Intelligence in Australia, Canada, New Zealand, South Africa, Ireland, and the UK.
Of course, iOS 18.2 Release Candidate contains bug fixes and various optimizations.
