Veo, Google’s generative artificial intelligence model for video creation, has been made available on the Vertex AI development platform. This will allow the company’s partners to create videos based on images or text queries and integrate the model into their products.
The Veo was first shown in May 2024, but it is still very limited in availability. According to Google, this model can generate high-quality videos lasting more than one minute in 1080p resolution. Users can choose from a variety of cinematic and visual styles.
Google claims that Veo powered by Vertex AI will enable the company to speed up production, reduce costs, and quickly prototype videos. Users will also be able to easily make edits and add their own logos and labels to already generated videos.
In addition, the full version of the Imagen 3 image generation model will be available on the Vertex AI platform. Starting next week, all Google Cloud users will be able to access this model, which previously had limited access. The company also demonstrates how businesses can use the model to advertise their products.
