According to the latest insights, Nintendo plans to announce its new console in January 2025 and launch it in March, the London Evening Standard reports.
Information about this appeared on a gaming forum dedicated to Nintendo, Famiboards, and on the Chinese platform Weibo (access is restricted).
If these reports are true, we should not expect a new Nintendo console before the New Year holidays. Earlier, the company’s president Shuntaro Furukawa said that Nintendo would announce its new console by the end of the current fiscal year, which ends in April 2025.

This is also confirmed by data from some video game developers who plan to release their future projects on an unannounced console. For example, Pathea Games studio mentioned the mysterious “Next-gen Nintendo” among the platforms in its Kickstarter campaign.
However, to be honest, “insiders” already have a much smaller selection of predictions regarding the possible release of the new console. Therefore, we can only wait for news from Nintendo.
