Genesis, a co-founding IT company, has introduced the INTRO online platform. Its goal is to make it easier for young people to get acquainted with the tech business and help newcomers take their first career steps.
The company explained that INTRO was implemented by Genesis’ educational department.
“INTRO by Genesis opens a new format of cooperation with product IT companies for students and graduates. We want young people to gain a deep understanding of market expectations, the necessary knowledge and foundation for future success, and companies to get young professionals prepared for real challenges,” said Education Operations Director Oleksiy Nishchyk.
What opportunities does INTRO:
- Create a resume questionnaire. Students will be able to describe their advantages in a convenient format of a constructor and video business cards, even in the absence of commercial experience. In particular, volunteer projects, international testing, and other achievements.
- Educational and career materials by domain. The platform has maps of professional trajectories in the product IT business. Each of them contains a list of necessary basic skills that can be mastered through the content collected on the platform. Materials in the domains of marketing, design, analytics, product management, etc. are already available.
- Profiles of dozens of product IT companies. Users will find it easy to find information about potential employers and decide which teams they want to work with.
Over the course of the year, the platform’s features will be expanded. Users will be able to create individual career paths, take online internships from Genesis ecosystem companies and partner companies, receive notifications about relevant positions, a calendar of lectures and workshops, personalized offers from companies, etc.
“We were prompted to create the platform by insights gained through systematic work with young people, companies, and university career centers. INTRO will fulfill the needs of all these stakeholders and become a convenient channel of communication between them,” said Oleksandra Tyrkalova, University Partnerships Lead at Genesis.
Access to INTRO is free and all materials are available upon registration. The first 150 users have already joined the platform.
