For many years now, developers have not been providing publishers with the release version of the game on CD/DVD, but the phrase “the game has gone gold” is still in use. Well, finally, GSC Game World has officially announced that the long-awaited sequel to S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl has gone gold. The game is ready and now the release will definitely take place on November 20, 2024.
The game will be released on Xbox Series X|S consoles and PC, where it can be pre-ordered on Steam, Epic Games Store, Microsoft Store, and GOG. Earlier, the studio also announced what bonuses players will receive for pre-ordering game.
This will be the first game in the series in 15 years. It went through numerous postponements, two of which took place only in 2024, but finally GSC Game World has officially confirmed that there will be no more postponements. S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl will be released in less than a week and a half after all the difficulties.
Earlier, GSC Game World talked about ordering an additional print run of the physical and collector’s editions of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2, bonuses that buyers who pre-ordered the game will receive, and also presented a new trailer for the project dedicated to weapons.
