Players’ interest in physical and collector’s editions of games is a sign of hype around the game and respect for the developers. Well, it looks like S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl is doing just fine, as the first edition of the game’s physical box set has already sold out and GSC Game World has ordered an additional print run. If you order this edition by November 10, 2024, you will receive your box by April 2025. However, you will receive a digital copy of the corresponding edition of the game on the day of release and can start playing along with everyone else.

In Ukraine, physical editions can be ordered on the MOYO website. The cost of some editions is impressive.

The most expensive (UAH 21,299) edition of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl Ultimate Edition includes a stalker backpack, an Artifact lamp, a collectible figure, an art book, a keychain with a Hearth, a military badge, patches, a poster, a map of the Zone, a tablet, a letter from the developers, a set of stickers, a souvenir Zone Pass, and, of course, a Steam download code. It’s a pity that because of the war, excursions to the Chornobyl Exclusion Zone are impossible, it would be a good addition to the Ultimate Edition.

Overall, it’s not a bad set, but it’s still a long way from the DIG VR Collectors Edition with two real mini-excavators or the Grid 2: Mono Edition with the BAC Mono sports car.

As GSC Game World warns, pre-orders and their delivery will be handled by the studio’s partners from PLAION. Due to the peculiarities of production, there is a possibility that the box with the game will either be plastic or it will be a tablet from the Ultimate Edition. This will only apply to new orders. The studio has no control over this and apologizes to players for any inconvenience.
