NVIDIA App has received an update with a set of additional features. The company also announced that this program will completely replace GeForce Experience by the end of the year.
In the update to the program, which was released in beta back in February, the company added support for G-Sync controls, RTX HDR support for multiple monitors, the ability to roll back drivers, and more.
In the previous update, the NVIDIA App received display settings, and now the ability to manage G-Sync settings has been added. In the future, they also plan to add all the features from the NVIDIA Control Panel. For example, the ability to set your own screen resolution and set up multiple monitors.
The beta also includes support for the RTX HDR filter, which adds HDR effects to games that don’t support it. By updating the program and drivers to version 565.90 or later, users will be able to enable high dynamic range mode in any game and with multiple displays.
Just like GeForce Expirience, NVIDIA App can display all the information about the computer’s power utilization by the game on top of it. With this innovation, users will even be able to change the color of this information. The program will also allow users to set optimal settings for each game from the Graphics page. In addition, you can configure drivers separately for each program or game.
Finally, the program also has an option to roll back the drivers to the previous version if there are any problems after the update. In addition, the program will notify you if DRM prevents you from recording videos with ShadowPlay. The program itself has convenient ways to filter games and apps and hide them.
NVIDIA said that it will continue to migrate all necessary features from GeForce Expirience and NVIDIA Control Panel to the NVIDIA App. In addition, the company wants to transfer all existing GeForce Expirience users to the new program by the end of the year.
