Apple is preparing to introduce a new iPhone SE and two iPad Air models in early 2025. The smartphone will finally get a modern design and get rid of the Home button, while the tablets will mostly receive internal improvements. This was reported by Bloomberg.

The iPhone SE was last updated in 2022, when the smartphone received 5G support, but still has an outdated design with a physical button and large top and bottom bezels.

The new smartphone will fix this and will look more like the iPhone 14 with a bezel-to-bezel screen and a selfie camera notch. It will also receive support for Apple Intelligence AI functions.

Earlier it was also reported that Apple plans to use OLED displays for the new iPhone SE, after which the company will no longer produce smartphones with LCD panels. It was also reported that the new SE plans to use a 5G modem of its own production.

iPad Air will have two models codenamed J607 and J637. These will be the same 11- and 13-inch versions, which will receive updated specifications and retain the familiar design.

At the same time, Apple will also introduce updated Magic Keyboards for both versions of the tablets. Apple may also introduce a new iPad Mini by the end of 2024.

We remind you that in addition to the new iPhone SE and tablets, Apple is also preparing to update the Mac mini, MacBook Pro, and iMac.
