Huawei has recently announced a new generation folding smartphone in China that consists of three parts. According to Android Authority, the gadget will make its global debut.

According to the report, Huawei Mate XT will be announced outside of China in the first quarter of 2025. Nothing is known about its price on the global market yet, but we can assume that the novelty will be expensive. For comparison, the starting price of the device in China is $2800.

As a reminder, Huawei Mate XT is the world’s first mass-produced smartphone that folds into three parts. The phone is 3.6 mm thick when fully open and 12.8 mm thick when closed.

The gadget has a standard 6.4-inch display with FHD+ resolution. If you expand it by half, you will get a larger 7.9-inch screen, and if you expand it completely, it will be a 10.2-inch panel.

The device comes with a Kirin 9010 chip, a 50 MP + 12 MP + 12 MP main camera, and a 5600 mAh battery with 66W charging.
