Microsoft recently launched a subscription plan for consoles – Game Pass Standard with a rather limited set of features. This plan only gives access to the Xbox game library and the ability to play online. Now it turns out that some big games are also missing from the new plan. This was reported by IGN.
The plan does not include access to the EA Play library, the ability to play new games on the day of their release, and several other features available in Game Pass Ultimate or PC.
At the same time, 41 games are missing from this plan, including Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, Diablo IV, Starfield, Forza Motorsport, MLB: The Show 24, Neon White, Octopath Travel 2, PayDay 3, Age of Mythology: Retold, and many others.
Moreover, to get access to these projects, players will have to choose the most expensive Ultimate subscription plan, which costs $19.99 per month. Meanwhile, subscribers with the Standard plan will have access to only 370 games instead of 508, if we take into account another 96 games that are included in the EA Play subscription. A list of all the missing games can be found on the ResetEra forum.
In general, the best options for getting all the benefits of Game Pass on consoles is the Ultimate plan, which, although more expensive, still has the full range of necessary features, including the ability to play cloud gaming. But if you don’t own an Xbox console, the PC plan is your best bet. It’s officially available in Ukraine and costs 230 UAH per month, giving you access to a large library of games and even new releases on the day they come out.
