The recently announced team-based game from Valve, Deadlock, which has not yet received an official release and is available only by invitation, already has a problem with cheaters. This was reported by 80LV.

Reddit users on a separate Steam subreddit posted a clip showing how some players use cheats, such as automatic aiming and the ability to see through walls.

Users wonder why they should use cheats in the alpha version of the game, where there are no ranks or ranked matches.

“What a sad existence must one have to cheat in a public alpha test? There aren’t even any stakes right now right? No leaderboards, no ranks etc,” wrote the user BearBearJarJar.

Deadlock is not the only Valve game where players resort to cheating. Cheats in Counter-Strike and Team Fortress 2 have been a problem for decades, and the company has been trying to fight them in every way possible. Perhaps, before the official release of the game, the company will be able to add a powerful anti-cheat that will help to fix this situation.

We would like to remind you that Deadlock recently set its own record of 170 thousand players simultaneously, despite the lack of an official release.
