The Ukrainian studio Creoteam (Collapse, Collapse: the Rage, Football, Tactics & Glory) reported selling over 100 thousand copies of Football, Tactics & Glory on Steam.

“We are delighted to announce that our game, Football, Tactics & Glory, has sold over 100,000 copies on Steam! This doesn’t include sales of the DLCs and console versions.

Thank you, players, for your support throughout all these years! You reported bugs, suggested ideas, left reviews on Steam, wrote words of encouragement, helped with localisation, advised newcomers, and, of course, enjoyed the game, which was very important to us,” the studio said in a statement.

Of course, 100 thousand copies in 6 years is not much compared to the sales of AAA blockbusters or the fantastic numbers of Black Myth: Wukong, but it’s a pretty good result for a small Ukrainian indie studio with only three people.

As a reminder, Football, Tactics & Glory uses a unique turn-based football game mechanic that turns each match into a mix of XCOM chess.

The original Football, Tactics & Glory was released in 2018 and received two major expansions Football, Tactics & Glory: Football Stars (2020) and Football, Tactics & Glory: Manager’s Journey (2021). The game has very favorable reviews and a Steam rating of 88/100 based on 3,530 reviews. Until August 26, 2024, the game is offered with an 80% discount for only 59 UAH, so it’s time to try it. In addition, Football, Tactics & Glory has a demo version.

Creoteam is currently working on the next project in the series – Football, Tactics & Glory: World, which is scheduled for release in the fourth quarter of 2024.
