Dragon Age: The Veilguard is the next, fourth installment in the legendary Dragon Age role-playing franchise, which was announced in 2022 under the name Dragon Age: Dreadwolf, has finally received a release date and a special trailer dedicated to this event.

It was announced on Bioware’s official blog: according to the announcement, the game is due out on October 31 this year. The exact release time will be known later, but the developer has already promised that it will be simultaneous worldwide.

At the same time, pre-orders were opened: Dragon Age: The Veilguard is available now on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles for $70 or on PC for $60. The PC version is available on the EA App, and the game’s pages are also available on Steam and the Epic Games Store– in all three stores, the price in Ukraine starts at UAH 1,499 for the basic version of the game.

The development of Dragon Age: The Veilguard began in 2015, a year after the release of the third installment, Inquisition. The new game is its sequel, and The Veilguard takes place 10 years after Inquisition, which is the same time that has passed since the game’s release.
