As announced in the official blog by the general manager of BioWare Gary McKay, RPG Dragon Age: Dreadwolf passed an important stage of development and reached the alpha version stage. The game can be played from beginning to end.

Of course, the game is not finished yet, but the developers can now evaluate the visual part, the gameplay, the pace of the game, the development of the character, their relationship with the environment, and how the individual stories and quests work together.

According to Gary McKay, Dragon Age: Dreadwolf puts even more emphasis on characters, both the main characters and their companions and even enemies. In addition, the new game will show areas that were only mentioned in the previous installments, such as the city of Minratus, the capital of the Tevinter Empire.

“The Alpha milestone is an extremely important one for us, but there’s more work to be done. We also want to continue being transparent with you, our community, and keep you up to date on what we’re crafting,” said Gary McKay.

It’s usually 1.5-3 years between going into alpha and releasing a AAA game, so hopefully Dragon Age: Dreadwolf’s release date is somewhere around 2024. We just have to wait.
