Google has introduced the Pixel 9 Pro Fold, a new foldable smartphone with the largest display in the company’s history in an even thinner form factor. However, even bigger than the smartphone’s screen is its price – $1799.

Google says that this display is the largest of any folding smartphone available in the same markets as its devices. Given that these are not very many countries, we’ll take the company’s word for it.

When unfolded, the smartphone offers an 8-inch Super Actua Flex display with a resolution of 2076 × 2152 pixels, a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a peak brightness of 2700 nits. When folded, the Actua has a 6.3-inch display with 1080 × 2424 pixels, the same peak brightness, and Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection.
