The Galaxy A55 5G is the first Samsung smartphone to support imperceptible system updates, writes The Mobile Indian.

According to the publication, the update screen on the smartphone showed two stages of installation – “Download and Install” and “Verification”.

Samsung has made Galaxy updates less intrusive

Usually, Samsung smartphones require a reboot to complete the update installation, which sometimes takes a long time, but in this case, the check went unnoticed and the user was only required to restart the smartphone once.

During the reboot, the user did not see any update installation interfaces or checks that appear on other devices.

In this way, Samsung is following Google’s lead, which introduced background updates to its Pixel series of smartphones back in 2016. It is not yet known when a similar update system will appear on other devices of the company. For the Galaxy A55 5G, it became available after the March update.
