Do you remember the news about the Ford Escape update? It took almost 1.5 years to transfer similar changes to the updated European crossover Ford Kuga.

Externally, the visual novelties are almost identical. From now on, Ford Kuga has new headlights and an LED strip between them, a redesigned grille and front bumper. In addition, some small details are different, such as the shape of the tailpipes and the silver insert on the rear bumper, the design of the wheel rims, and the color palette.

However, the technical component of the European version of the car differs significantly from its American cousin. The base variant for the Ford Kuga is a 1.5-liter 150-horsepower turbo engine paired with a manual and front-wheel drive.

The next variant of the Ford Kuga is a hybrid based on a 2.5-liter atmospheric engine – the power of this version is 180/183 hp (front/all-wheel drive). Finally, the maximum variant is a Plug-In hybrid with a total capacity of 243 hp and the ability to cover up to 69 km on electric drive alone.

However, if we return to the cabin, we will again see familiar updates. For example, an enlarged 12.3-inch horizontal display or a modified climate control unit. In addition, the special ST-Line and Active versions receive their own decor options: in the first case, red stitching, in the second, large letters “A” on the seats.

Sales of the updated Ford Kuga in Europe will start within the next month or two. I wonder when it will appear in Ukraine and at what price?
