It looks like it is! Recently, the first images of a new coupe called the Dodge Charger Daytona have been released. And it will be a real “American muscle car” as we used to imagine it: a large hood and hidden headlights, wide roof pillars and even wider wheels. Already now, the car can be bought just for its design!

But it looks like the performance will be impressive as well. Firstly, electric versions of the Dodge Charger Daytona are expected to be launched: rear or all-wheel drive, power from 400 to almost 680 horses.

Secondly, photos from the production line show the bare body of the new Dodge Charger Daytona coupe – and the transmission tunnel is clearly visible, hinting at the appearance of a modification with a traditional internal combustion engine. It will probably not be a multi-liter V8, but an inline-six of the new Hurricane series. That’s not bad either: there are already versions of this engine with 500-550 “horses”.

Full information about the Dodge Charger Daytona should be announced in the coming months, as the production of the new car is already scheduled for the end of 2024. So we are waiting for the official presentation, and then we will know all the details.
