Taxi Life: A City Driving Simulator, which takes place in a 1:1 scale recreation of Barcelona, has received a release date. The game will be released on PC on March 7, 2024 on Steam, Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5.

As a reminder, in Taxi Life, you have to set up a taxi business in Barcelona, but you have to start from the very beginning, i.e. get behind the wheel yourself. The game features the central part of Barcelona, almost 460 km of streets, famous sights of the city, etc. on a 1:1 scale.

You need to get passengers to their destination quickly and safely, and you also need to fulfill their requests (change the music, chat, open a window, etc.), adapt to the traffic situation, weather changes, and random events, repair and improve the car, hire new drivers, and so on.

So Taxi Life:A City Driving Simulator is a kind of Euro Truck Simulator 2, but about taxis in a very beautiful Spanish city. But the game doesn’t have any licenses for cars yet, and SCS Software didn’t have any from the beginning either.

It is interesting that Taxi Life is not developed by a Spanish studio, but by Polish Simteract. So far, the studio has only one project, the railway Train Life: A Railway Simulator, which has mixed reviews and a Steam rating of 68/100.
