Free games for PS Plus Extra and Premium in January: Resident Evil 2, Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, Just Cause 3, and more

Traditionally, Sony starts “additional” game giveaways for more expensive PS Plus plans in the second half of the month, a couple of weeks after the general announcement for all packages, including the basic PS Plus Essential. Starting January 16, the following games for PS4 and PS5 will be available for Extra and Premium subscribers:

Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands – Next-Level Edition (PS4, PS5) — an expanded edition of the role-playing shooter released last year, a fantasy spinoff of the popular Borderlands series.

 
Resident Evil 2 (PS4, PS5) — a remake of the classic 1998 horror film. It should be noted that simultaneously with the addition of the game to the PS Plus Extra and Premium catalog, the game will also appear in Game Pass on the same day.

Hardspace: Shipbreaker (PS5) — is a simulator of searching for and utilizing abandoned spacecraft.

LEGO City Undercover (PS4) — is an open-world adventure game in which the player plays the role of an undercover cop in the Lego City themed universe.

 
Just Cause 3 (PS4) — is the third installment of a third-person shooter in an open world with maximum freedom of action.

Session: Skate Sim (PS4, PS5) — a skateboarding simulator with a slightly unusual perspective that imitates the fisheye lens of a mini DV camera.

Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun (PS4) — is a real-time stealth tactics-oriented game with gameplay similar to Commandos and Desperados, set in feudal Japan.

 
Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansong (PS4, PS5) — is a story-based single-player role-playing game based on the universe of the board game Vampire: The Masquerade, in which the player controls three vampires with different abilities.

Surviving the Aftermath (PS4) — is a city-planning strategy by Paradox Interactive in a post-apocalyptic world, considered to be a follower of Surviving Mars by the same publisher.

 
In addition, the catalog of “classics” of the PS Plus Premium plan will be replenished with the following games:
Rally Cross, Star Wars: Episode 1 The Phantom Menace, Street Fighter: 30th Anniversary Collection, Legend of Mana, Secret of Mana.
