Netflix has released a new trailer for the upcoming series 3 Body Problem. The project is based on the novel by Chinese writer Liu Qixin and is due to be released on March 21, 2024, writes The Verge.
In this trailer, the streaming service seeks to draw viewers’ attention to the mystery. Essentially, a whole group of scientists has gone missing, and the series’ protagonist is trying to figure out what it means.
“The story begins in 1960s China when a young woman makes a fateful decision that reverberates across space and time into the present day. When the laws of nature as we know them inexplicably unravel, a tight-knit group of brilliant scientists must join forces with an unflinching detective to stop humanity’s greatest threat,” says Netflix’s description.
The cast includes: Benedict Wong, Giovan Adepo, John Bradley, Rosalind Chao, Liane Cunningham, Eisa Gonzalez and others. The showrunners of the project are Alexander Wu, David Benioff and D.B. Weiss. The latter two are known for the Game of Thrones series.
