PlayStation will not delete Discovery shows from the user’s library. The company was able to sign a new deal with Warner Bros. This is reported by GamesIndustry.biz.

In early December, Sony began sending emails to users who had purchased Discovery shows through the console’s store, stating that they would “no longer be able to watch” the content they had purchased after December 31.

The new agreement with Warner Bros. now says that all owners of the console that bought the shows will still be able to watch them, but with one caveat: the deal is only for 30 months.

“Similar to other services, we do not own the licensing rights to TV/movie content that was previously available for purchase on PlayStation Store. However, we’ve worked with Warner Bros to update our licensing agreements, ensuring that consumers will be able to access their previously purchased content for at least the next 30 months,” Sony said in an update.
