Here’s a beautiful car to brighten up your Tuesday – the new McLaren GTS supercar. Although we can argue about the word “new”, because the McLaren GTS looks like an improved and updated version of the McLaren GT: the front bumper has changed slightly, new air ducts have appeared on the rear wings, and there are minimal changes at the rear. Here’s a comparison: the new McLaren GTS (gray car) and the McLaren GT (orange car).

The main idea has also remained unchanged – the new McLaren GTS offers a combination of supercar technology with comfort and simplicity for everyday use. For example, this is why a new front body lift system has been installed, which allows you to increase the ground clearance from 110 mm to 130 mm in just four seconds – twice as fast as its predecessor.

At the same time, the McLaren GTS still has a 4-liter turbo gasoline V8 inside. It produces 635 horsepower, which is 15 hp more than the McLaren GT model. This level of power is enough to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 3.2 seconds and reach a top speed of 326 km/h – quite a supercar level, don’t you agree?

Returning to the interior, we again see the familiar McLaren GT design: the shape of the front panel and steering wheel, a translucent roof, color displays, and metallic décor. The main noticeable change in the McLaren GTS is the use of new materials for the seats and interior panels, which should emphasize the car’s more “luxurious” and luxurious character.

Finally, it’s worth noting McLaren’s trademark “perfectionism”. Take a look at the wheels of the McLaren GTS – you’ll see new 10-spoke wheels and big brakes (390 mm in front and 380 mm at the rear); but what else? You might see the optional titanium wheel bolts: the company claims that they are 35% lighter than conventional ones, which reduces unsprung weight. This is the level of attention to detail!
