Marvel star Jonathan Majors has been fired after being found guilty of harassment, reports The Verge.

Kang the Conqueror was convicted of harassing and assaulting his former partner Grace Jabbari. The trial in this case lasted two weeks. The final verdict will be announced on February 6, 2024.

The actor was arrested after an incident in March this year. All this happened at a time when Jonathan Majors’ fame was at its peak. He has been recognized for his work on the TV series Lovecraft Country and the movie The Last Black Man in San Francisco.

The actor received roles in major films, several of which were released in early 2023. Among them are Creed III and Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.

In the Marvel universe, Jonathan Majors was supposed to be the next supervillain, but after the court’s verdict, the situation is changing. It is not yet known whether Kang’s “reincarnation” is planned. However, Marvel will probably want to focus on another villain now.
