The Christmas Winterland Event 2023 has started in American Truck Simulator and Euro Truck Simulator 2 and official snow has appeared for the first time!
As part of the event, players from both games deliver a variety of New Year’s goods to a magical land that can be accessed through special portals. It is a snowy area that is preparing for the new year. There is a nice European city, a toy factory, a resort, a post office, and an art studio. And… the roads here are slippery, so you need to drive carefully.
Of course, the developers have planned personal and team goals for this event, as well as several rewards for players. But most importantly, it looks like SCS Software is testing a snowy version of the game map, whether for future expansions like Alaska, Canada, or the Nordic region, or for introducing the long-awaited seasons to the games. Currently, seasons can be added to SCS Software games using mods, but we would like to get official support.
The Christmas Winterland Event 2023 will run in American Truck Simulator and Euro Truck Simulator 2 until January 14, 2024.
