Tactical police shooter Ready or Not leaves Steam Early Access
After two years of testing and development, the tactical police shooter Ready or Not is finally leaving Steam’s Early Access. Version 1.0 should be available to players on December 13, 2023.
Ready or Not is the spiritual descendant of the tactical police shooter SWAT 4 by Irrational Games, which was released back in 2005. It’s a very complex and very realistic simulator of a special forces police officer, where every careless step, every hasty decision can lead to the death of either the police officers or hostages.
The development of Ready or Not started back in 2016, in 2021 the game appeared in Steam Early Access, and now it’s finally released.
As a reminder, the Ukrainian team Red Mountain Games is developing a competitor to Ready or Not, another spiritual successor to SWAT 4, a tactical police shooter Tactical Squad: SWAT Stories. Earlier this year, we interviewed the developers of Tactical Squad: SWAT Stories.
