The teaser trailer for the second season of the series House of the Dragon has finally been released, reports The Hollywood Reporter.
It describes the events that unfold after the death of King Viserys. The published trailer shows a brutal war between the Targaryens that will take many lives.
“There is no war so hateful to the gods as a war between kin,” intones Rhaenys Targaryen (Eve Best). “And no war so bloody as a war between dragons.”
It also became known that Clinton Liberty as Addam from Hull, Jamie Kenna as Sir Alfred Broome, Kieran Buchan as Hugh, Tom Bennett as Ulf, Tom Taylor as Lord Cragan Stark and Vincent Regan as Sir Rickard Thorne will join the second season.
The new season of the series will consist of 8 episodes and is scheduled to premiere in the summer of 2024.
As a reminder, A House of Dragons is a prequel to Game of Thrones. It shows the events that took place 200 years before the events depicted in the series based on the A Song of Ice and Fire novel series. The first season of Dragonsong consists of 10 episodes and premiered in August 2022.
