Yes, the Toyota Yaris Cross crossover has become more powerful! In addition to the already known 116-horsepower hybrid, a 132-horsepower power unit is now available. Moreover, the increase in power was achieved precisely as a result of optimizing the operation of the electric part of this hybrid, but the 1.5-liter gasoline engine remained unchanged. In any case, we have an increase in power and improved dynamics – now acceleration from 0-100 km/h takes 10.7 seconds, which is a gain of half a second.
But that’s not all. The updated Toyota Yaris Cross crossover is ready to offer not only an increase in power, but also an increase in the diagonal of the displays. Of course, it all depends on the configuration, but the maximum version of the Toyota Yaris Cross now features a fully digital 12.3-inch instrument panel with multiple image options and a 10.5-inch center display. In addition, the manufacturer claims to have improved finishing materials and expanded the functionality of the T-MATE safety system.
However, given the end of the current year, we will probably have to wait until the beginning of 2024 for such Toyota Yaris Cross cars. However, they should come not only to Europe, but also to Ukraine – this “baby” is quite popular here.
