We don’t know how it happened, but for some reason we missed the 16-minute gameplay trailer of the battle royale game Off The Grid, which is being developed by the Ukrainian-German studio Gunzilla Games. We’re getting it right, especially since the trailer features locations that are familiar to Ukrainians.
The Mother Ukraine, Kyiv TV tower, Vernadsky National Library of Ukraine, Salyut Hotel on Ivan Mazepa Street, and other Kyiv landmarks are part of the Little Kyiv district, where the storyline multiplayer mission begins, as seen in the trailer. This is not surprising, given that most of the developers are physically located in Kyiv.
The 16-minute trailer for Off The Grid, which features well-known streamers Dr DisRespect, Clix, and ImperialHal, has both large gameplay segments with several different teams trying to complete the same mission and fragments of story videos. Well, we must admit that it all looks at least interesting.
Off The Grid is a battle royale 2. 0 for 150 players in PvEvP with a powerful storyline, which is being developed by Kyiv-based studios Crytek, 4A Games, and Frogwares with the involvement of world-renowned director and screenwriter Neill Blomkamp (District 9, Elysium, Chappie, Demonic) and science fiction writer Richard Morgan (Altered Carbon, Broken Angels, Furies Awakened).
Off The Grid will be released on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Windows PC. The game has no release date yet.
