Apple plans to release OLED iPad Pro and 12.9-inch iPad Air next year

According to information by analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple is preparing for a large-scale update of the iPad line in 2024. This update is expected to bring significant changes, including the launch of new OLED iPad Pro models and a larger 12.9-inch iPad Air.

OLED versions of the iPad Pro are particularly noteworthy, as they could significantly improve the display quality for high-end iPad models, potentially offering improved image quality with deeper blacks and wider color gamut than current LCD screens. The arrival of a 12.9-inch iPad Air would also be a significant development, giving users the option of a larger screen in the more affordable Air lineup.

According to Kuo, later this year, Apple will also update the iPad mini and introduce the 11th generation iPad, further expanding its tablet range.

According to the analyst’s insights, the 12.9-inch iPad Air is expected to be presented in early 2024, while the iPad Pro with OLED displays and Apple M3 processors will be announced by the end of the second quarter.
