Netflix has announced the lineup of pairs that will take part in The Netflix Cup golf competition, the first sports event to be streamed live.

The tournament will begin on the eve of the Las Vegas Grand Prix on Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at 15:00 (1:00 Wednesday, November 15, Kyiv time).

Two matches will feature pairs. In the first match, Lando Norris (McLaren Racing) and Rick Fowler (highest Official World Golf Ranking – 4 in 2016) will play against Carlos Sainz Jr. (Scuderia Ferrari) and Justin Thomas (highest Official World Golf Ranking – 1 in 2019). In the second match, Alex Albon (Williams Racing) together with Max Homa (highest Official World Golf Ranking – 5 in 2023) will play against Pierre Gasly (BWT Alpine F1 Team) and Collin Morikawa (highest Official World Golf Ranking – 2 in 2021). The winners of the pairs will then face off in the final match for the same Netflix Cup.

All games will be short, only 8 holes instead of the standard 18, and will take place at the Wynn Golf Club in Las Vegas. You can set a reminder on Netflix to remind you when the tournament starts.

In fact, many Formula 1 drivers are fond of golf and Lando Norris, Carlos Sainz, Alex Albon and Pierre Gasly often play together, so it won’t be a competition for complete amateurs. Who will you be rooting for?
