Earlier this week, Bioware presented a teaser for Mass Effect 5 on the occasion of N7 Day but the game is actually very far from release. According to Insider Gaming, citing insider Jeff Grab, the new installment will be released no earlier than 2029.

Jeff Grab explained that Dragon Age: Dreadwolf, announced in 2018, will be released only in 2024. It took the studio 6 years to create the game, which was repeatedly postponed, including earlier this year.

Currently, Dreadwolf is at the alpha stage and can be played in its entirety, but the full release of the game should not be expected before next summer.

Therefore, we can draw certain conclusions that if the company continues to postpone games and lay off employees, then the release of Mass Effect 5 no earlier than 2029 looks, unfortunately, quite realistic.
