BioWare presented a teaser for the next Mass Effect installment
On the occasion of N7 Day, the official Mass Effect holiday that takes place annually on November 7, BioWare presented a short teaser trailer for the next installment of the game, the tentative Mass Effect 5.
All that can be seen in the teaser is a female character in a very strange cape suit with the N7 program emblem. Fans of the game note some notes of cyberpunk and Star Wars in the character’s appearance.
As much as we would like to believe in the bright future of the Mass Effect series, BioWare itself is going through a difficult time. The studio’s last major game, Anthem, was released in 2019 and failed in sales, although players appreciated the remaster of Mass Effect Legendary Edition in 2021.
In August 2023, BioWare laid off 50 employees, and in October, seven of them filed a lawsuit against the company.
But… I really want to believe that Mass Effect 5 will be better than Mass Effect: Andromeda. Happy N7 Day to everyone!
