Google launches “.ing” domain. Registration of think.ing will cost almost $40 thousand per year

The Google Registry is launching a new and very interesting top-level domain “.ing”. This was reported by The Verge with reference to the tech company’s blog.

Users can already register .ing domains as part of the early access. However, they will have to pay an “additional one-time fee”.

It is planned that by the beginning of December, the amount of this fee will be gradually reduced. On December 5, .ing domains will officially become publicly available.

An interesting domain provides users with great opportunities. But it is not cheap. For example, registering think.ing through GoDaddy will cost $38,999.99 per year. And for buy.ing, you will have to pay $129,999.99 annually. Of course, these are exceptional options, which is why their cost turned out to be sky-high.

There are also more affordable offers. For example, masturbat.ing will cost about 30.7 thousand UAH if you register the domain on December 5. For earlier registration, the prices are higher.

The Google Registry is also working on the “.meme” top-level domain. Early access to it is planned to be opened on November 28, and on December 5, the domain should become publicly available.
