The SGH-E700 was an important product for Samsung, as it was the company’s first phone with a built-in antenna, and it played an important role in strengthening the manufacturer’s position in the mobile phone industry.

Samsung plans to attract customers by showcasing its history of innovation, with the SGH-E700 and the new Galaxy Flip5 serving as representative examples of the company’s journey from its founding to the present day. Over the decades, Samsung has introduced a number of revolutionary mobile products, including the SPH-M2500 MP3 phone in 1999, the SPH-WP10 watch phone, the SCH-M220 TV phone, and the SCH-V200 camera phone.

The Galaxy Flip5 Retro body is stylized like the SGH-E700, including a combination of classic blue and silver colors popular in Samsung models of the 2000s, a new interpretation of pixel graphics of that time and an exclusive animation on the outer screen depicting a cityscape with a touch of nostalgia.
