The Mitsubishi Delica has always represented a combination of a van and an SUV or crossover: a spacious body, all-wheel drive, and high ground clearance. And the Mitsubishi D:X concept hints at what the next incarnation of the model could look like.

The concept will remain unchanged, but the design will be significantly updated: hello to numerous angles and T-shaped headlights and lights. Also, pay attention to the large wheels with off-road tires, massive plastic overlays, and advanced lighting: the Mitsubishi D:X concept is ready for expeditions now!

And it is ready to transport many people at the same time, with the appropriate level of comfort. Separate seats are offered for the driver and passengers – with the possibility of adjustments and even face-to-face turning. There is also a “transparent hood” and a steering wheel with a built-in display.

The technology is currently unknown – there have only been references to the use of a plug-in hybrid and all-wheel drive. The timing of the production model, which will be based on the Mitsubishi D:X concept, is also unknown.

However, it seems that Mitsubishi is not going to close the direction of such a spacious all-terrain vehicle, and the Mitsubishi D:X concept will be embodied in a production model in the near future.
