During the Xbox Partner Preview event, Microsoft and Konami demonstrated how the Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater remake, which is being developed on the Unreal Engine 5, looks like now.
Well, the game looks really good. Everything you can see in the video was shot on the game engine in real time.
As a reminder, Metal Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eater is Konami’s return to big games after Hideo Kojima left the company and they seemingly decided to focus on mobile games and arcades.
Metal Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eater is being developed by Konami Digital Entertainment’s (KDE) in-house studio with the support of outsourced studio Virtuos. This is the first Metal Gear game to run on a third-party engine. The Greek “Δ” in the title is meant to represent the difference between the classic 2004 game and the remake.
Metal Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eater will be released on Windows PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. The game has no release date yet.
