Amazon has announced the premiere of the series based on the popular role-playing game series Fallout on April 12, 2024, reports Ars Technica.

The expected TV series will be shown on Amazon Prime Video. Little is known about the plot and characters of Fallout. The events will take place in Southern California and start in Vault 33. Walton Goggins (Justified, Django Unchained, Predators) will play the main role in the series. Fallout will also feature Kyle MacLachlan (Twin Peaks) and Ella Purnell (The Hornets).

Amazon announced the premiere of Fallout in 2024 in the summer of 2023. But at the time, the company did not name the exact date of the series’ release. Last fall, Amazon published a photo of characters in Warehouse 33 costumes on its Prime Video X account, and before that, several images of Warehouse 32 leaked online.

When the series was first announced, Bethesda stated that it had been looking for ways to adapt the Fallout games into movies or TV shows for the past decade. The adaptation will have a serious and harsh tone, as well as ironic humor and nuclear fantasies in the style of low-budget films.
