The show The Problem With Jon Stewart on Apple TV Plus is closing. The reason for this decision is called “creative differences,” writes The Verge.

Getting Jon Stewart to join the new political talk show was one of the biggest achievements of Apple TV Plus when it was first announced in 2020. The filming of its third season was to start soon.

However, on the eve of the filming, the host and the company allegedly failed to find a common language. According to The New York Times, there are concerns about some of the show’s guests and topics of discussion, such as artificial intelligence and China.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, before the decision to stop the show, Apple approached Jon Stewart and expressed the need for the host and his team to “align” with the company’s views on the topics discussed.

The show premiered on September 30, 2021. The first season consisted of 8 episodes. The second season, which started on October 7, 2022, already contained 12 episodes.
