Microsoft has announced the launch of the Arm Advisory Service for developers, a free program. The program is designed to help programmers develop Windows applications for PCs with ARM processors, writes The Register.
The Advisory Service is an extension of Microsoft’s existing App Assure program, which helps developers migrate applications from Windows 7 to Windows 10 or 11.
Arm Advisory Service for developers will offer various assistance to developers. For example, it will include technical seminars, code samples, and reviews that will help in the development of programs.
They also promise access to Microsoft engineers who will help with software development and provide feedback on the product.
By the way, recently Qualcomm released the name of its future platform for ARM computers: Snapdragon X. It is based on Oryon processor technology, which Qualcomm acquired from Nuvia in 2021.
