It seems that Assassin’s Creed Mirage has become a great success for Ubisoft and will bring the company good money.

A week after the game’s release, Ubisoft thanked players for their support and called Assassin’s Creed Mirage the studio’s biggest release for next-gen consoles.

“With the numbers of players being in line with past succesful launches such as Assassin’s Creed Origins and Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, we are humbled by the positive reception. We are proud to also share that Assassin’s Creed Mirage is the biggest New Gen launch in terms of unit sales to date at Ubisoft (PS5, Xbox Series X-S).” – the statement says, among other things.

The sales of Assassin’s Creed Origins and Assassin’s Creed Odyssey titles have exceeded 10 million copies. This is a really great success, considering that Assassin’s Creed Mirage is much smaller in size and took significantly less time and money to develop than the huge open worlds of the previous games in the series.

Well, we can only be happy for the series, which will be further boosted by such a success. It is now known that all subsequent, and eventually the previous games in the series, will be connected through the Assassin’s Creed Infinity hub, which will become a kind of personal Animus for the player to travel back in time. The first game to be released in Infinity will be Assassin’s Creed: Red set in feudal Japan, the next one will be Assassin’s Creed: Hexe in the setting of Medieval Europe and witch hunts in the 16th century.
