Music streaming giant Spotify is launching a new social feature. It is called Spotify Jam and allows users to create a joint playlist, reports The Verge.

Up to 32 Spotify users can join each session and listen to music in real time. What makes Spotify Jam special is that every member of the group can add songs to the playlist.

The new feature is available to all Spotify users. But only Spotify Premium members can start and invite others to a jam session. To do this, they can use Bluetooth, share a QR code, or a direct link. Users of a shared Wi-Fi connection can also join an active jam by opening the Spotify app.

In August, Spotify launched a beta version of an AI DJ in 50 markets around the world. The feature creates and comments on an updated personalized playlist.
