Ukraine was ranked 16th among the countries with the most affordable mobile Internet per 1 GB. This is evidenced by the data of Cable.co.uk, which analyzed 5603 mobile Internet tariff plans in 237 countries, writes AIN.UA.

According to the calculations, the average price for 1 GB of mobile data in Ukraine is $0.27. The lowest price is $0.13, and the highest is $27.02. In total, the company took into account 11 tariff plans.

According to Cable.co.uk, Israel offers the cheapest mobile Internet, with an average price of $0.02 per GB. But in the United States, mobile Internet is one of the most expensive. The country ranks 219th in the ranking, as the average cost of the service here is $6 per 1 GB.

Meanwhile, Zimbabwe offers the most expensive mobile Internet. In this country, the cost of the service reaches $43.75 per gigabyte.

The company’s analysts also concluded that the cost of the service has a steady downward trend in the long term.

Cable.co.uk was unable to collect data and include certain countries in the statistics: Bulgaria, Wallis and Futuna, Christmas Island, Eritrea, North Korea, the Pitcairn Islands, the French South and Antarctic Territories, the US Small Remote Islands and the Vatican City.

As a reminder, Ukraine is working to launch 5G communications. The corresponding pilot project is planned to be implemented in 2024.
