In a few days for the release of Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty CD, Projekt Red has finally released Update 2.0, a free update that significantly revamps the game and, most importantly for us, adds the Ukrainian localization to Cyberpunk 2077.

There are so many updates and they affect such important game systems that, according to CD Projekt Red, it’s almost a new game, so the developers recommend starting a new playthrough with a new character.

It looks like a lot of people did, because the number of players in Cyberpunk 2077 on Steam has increased significantly, jumping from 20 to 110 thousand and it looks like there will be even more players this weekend.

This is the best performance for Cyberpunk 2077 since September 2022, when the release of the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, the number of players increased, reaching a peak of 136 thousand, the best result since the release, when Cyberpunk 2077 had more than 1 million players.

As a reminder, Update 2.0 and Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty are very demanding on resources, so don’t forget to check your PC’s cooling system.
