The iPhone 15 Pro Max is in high demand, but has a longer production time. TF Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo wrote about this on Medium, according to AppleInsider.

According to him, the demand for the iPhone 15 Pro Max “is high, as expected, outpacing last year’s iPhone 14 Pro Max.” The Pro model’s figures are lower compared to last year. This may be due to the fact that more premium users have switched to the Pro Max. Demand for standard iPhone 15 models is “about the same as last year.”

Despite this, the waiting time for the iPhone 15 Pro Max is longer than for other models. Ming-Chi Kuo believes that this is not only due to high demand. Potential reasons for the longer wait include a later start of mass production and more pronounced current production problems than with other models.

Meanwhile, the TF Securities analyst is still convinced that 80 million iPhone 15 units will be sold in 2023.

As a reminder, Apple showed off its new flagship iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max during a presentation on September 12.
