Some may think that the Ford F-150 pickup truck is not very interesting for Ukraine. But, first of all, it is the most popular pickup truck in the United States and one of the most popular vehicles in the world. And secondly, look at the streets of cities full of “Americans”. So let’s look at what may appear here in 1-2 years.

The new Ford F-150 pickup truck has retained its distinctive body design and gigantic dimensions: even the basic versions exceed the 5.3-meter mark, and the extended versions are more than six meters long. And now all versions of the Ford F-150 have a new face with a redesigned grille, headlights and “light strips” inside them.

But perhaps the biggest change in the Ford F-150 is hidden behind the rear – a small door built into the rear side of the body. This door can be opened up to 110 degrees and provides convenient access to the body when you need to put something small in/out.

The main changes to the cabin are a pair of 12-inch displays, which are now standard equipment for any Ford F-150 variant. Also, for the first time, a windshield projection system is offered for the model. In addition, the list of equipment such as BlueCruise (semi-autonomous highway driving) has been expanded and new systems have been introduced to assist with trailer driving.

Several turbo engines are available for the updated Ford F-150. The base engine is a 2.7-liter V6 with 330 horsepower. A more powerful alternative is the 406-horsepower 3.5-liter “six”; a hybrid version is also based on it – then there will be 436 “horses” under the hood. In addition, the 5.0 V8 atmospheric engine for the Ford F-150 is retained and a compressor V8 is offered for the Ford F-150 Raptor R version.

Sales of the new model in the United States will start soon at a price of $36.5 thousand, but the maximum equipment can double the price, and the extreme Ford F-150 Raptor R pickup truck costs more than $100 thousand. But we are not interested in the prices of new Ford F-150 cars because every Ukrainian knows how to buy American cars cheaper.
